We'll be planning to conduct a wedding videography workshop in the later half of the year, focusing mainly on video camera handling techniques. Its gonna be a 2-3 day workshop where we'll show what/how we capture shots for each segment of a wedding day.

This will be the 1st ever in SG.

This is not a NLE course, coz there are already tons of courses on FCP, Premiere Pro, etc out there. This will primarily be a hands-on-camera workshop. We'll have actual shootouts with models to show the use of full manual control, use of stabilizers, things to look out for, multicam church setup, bridal gown shots, makeup shots, cake shots, etc. Also tips on how to do express highlights for every wedding.

We hope to share what we do to help local videographers produce better works, and thus command a higher price.

you may view some of our works at http://www.alvinadelineweddings.com

Pre-requisites include 1) having shot at least 3 weddings, 2) own at least a prosumer camcorder with manual controls for zoom, focus and iris, 3) already proficient in editing on an NLE program such as FCP, Premiere, Vegas, Edius, Avid, etc

For those interested, pls PM me. We can work out the detailed syllabus after we understand what you need. However, this workshop will be cancelled if there is insufficient participants.

Thanks to those who pmed me.
Although we can't handle too many people, there are still open slots.

To add on a bit and bump this up,
this workshop is not about learning hardware. Hardware are just aids. One can still produce a very nice wedding video album with pure handheld work and a consumer camcorder. One of the aims of this workshop is to share our formula to consistently produce quality same-day-edits for every wedding, as well as quality video albums after the wedding day.
