Hey guys.. anyone knows apart from MDA, crowdfunding and taking money from your own pocket, anyone knows if there are any avenues for grants, investment and financing for local short films?

LOL.. I just came up with a great idea and also secured the main actor liao but don't want to see it ruined..doubt the MDA would agree to fund it too. it's not based on real life events but could be too controversial. :cry:

Previously when I worked with some film makers, their patrons are rich pple.

After playing with cars, property, women, they now have something to boast about: investing in movies.

The producer and actors/actress have to appear regularly at CNY or events so that these rich investors can introduce them to his/ her friends.

Personally I don't have the network. Just know this concept.
