Allow Members to create Poll threads about Clubsnap's new Rules/Regulations

I have been directed by Jason (a moderator) that I should perhaps consider posting my enquiry about WHY my poll thread (Removal of WTB/WTS ads in Kopitiam) was removed in Feedback & Suggestions.

I am not sure if any other clubsnapper had similar experience as me. Here my story goes:

I started a poll thread today to check out how fellow snappers feel about this new rule when I realised that we are not allowed to post WTB/WTS threads in Kopitiam.

The poll thread will closed immediately after the moderator explains Clubsnap Management's stand about why they have to add the new rule.
I queried the moderator's action in Kopitiam (which was later brought to my notice that I should save such queries in Feedback & Suggestions) and was labeled as a "young" member who might not quite understand the rules & regulations of the long-standing Clubsnap forum.

The moderators have once again confirmed that they have made the decision to remove the WTB/WTS ads in Kopitiam and thus, they are going to close my thread again. Hmmm.. The moderator did not answer my question again. My question was "why close" not "why remove".

I do understand the moderators' stand about removing WTB/WTS ads in Kopitiam. But I want to know why my poll thread has to be closed.

It will be a real disappointment if the moderators choose to close this thread again without an appropriate explanation.

I sincerely hope that there will be an area that we can voice our feedback about the new rules and regulations.

PS I may have started browsing Clubsnap much more longer time than I joined as a member.

I guess there are always people who feel my level of English is so sub standard and they can never understand my posting well.

Ok let me give you a simple answer why your poll was closed. Reason : theres no need for such poll in the 1st place. Simple?

Also poll is pretty much a useless way of gathering feedback. There are so many members in the forum and chances are not even 1/10 of the people will even vote. So whats your intent and purpose of creating the poll in the 1st place?

There are lots of times when I just wish some members can be more understanding and this is certainly one of them.

I can tell you outright that you are taking this closing of poll issue too personally against the mod/admin. We have given the reasons. Though I fully understand our opinions may diff, I do expect some members to learn how to respect decision made.

I am closing this thread since its not leading anywhere. I suggest that you take some time to cool down a bit before making another post.
