I like this one best  Perhaps ur pics posted a little small, unable to "feel" the effect n intended message. imho ... try tightening ur framing to give ur pics a perspective that is not "normal" to the human eye when doing shots like pic 1 n 2.

just a tot at this unearthly hour :P

Thanks for the comments HVB88!
What is the best size for posting pics ahz?
Anyway what is vignetting? I'm super noob.. hmm.. is it the weird weird stuffs on the edge of the photos?

Alright.. have resized the photos... hope it's ok now...
Or should it be smaller?

vignetting refers to those dark edges on your photos.
they are light fall off, a problem that plagues some lens more than others.

some of your photos like this is outstanding but lacks contrast.

Hi bro, not bad, I see that you are committed to your new hobby and working towards mastering this art. Comparing it to how you first started, lots of improvements.

This series that you have just posted has potential. I see attempt by you to do unusual angles and that is commendable. From your titles, I also get to know of your main subject, perhaps you could think about ... if without looking at the title, the picture could tell the story by itself, how then would your composure be, or where then would I place my main subject in the framing? Sometimes its good to include many things, sometimes it better to have lesser distractions, there are no fix rule to it, each situation holds it's own weight and each person has their own take that works best. You will have to develop your own style and perspectives. But for a start, maybe could consider establishing the basics and understand the "industry" and then work from there.

In the spirit of learning and sharing, I made slight adjustment on one of you picture to use it as an example to see how by shifting, tilting, contrasting etc how the main subject could be exemplified better (at least thats how its seen through my vision) to let you understand the paragraph above. which is all words, with a simple comparison through pictures.

The past weeks, I know you have made many trips and kept taking pictures. I though some of them are very good. We should discuss and exchange notes when we next meet-up bro

Good effort, some pics I project what you wanted.

I especially like the Silhouett.
The only one that is not so good is the earthworm.. background too messy, and the worm
is not complete.

Wow.. thanks dude! It sure does look more outstanding with the contrast! Will work that out! =) Anyway, is vignetting common? Or only occurs to some lens only? =(

Yupz.. will do that..
Hmm but wanna ask, controlling the exposure should I reduce the EV or reduce the aperture?

Brother! Haha.. thanks thanks! Yupz.. working hard to improve my skills on the hobby! hehe..

Hmm.. that's right.. i think u got a point.. my photos have too much of unnecessary elements.. and that sort of nullified the importance of my subject... thanks for taking time to do the example photo! My tree sure look better after the contrast and cropping! Anyway, i realised alot of photographers like more contrast to their photos.. why huh? But do u find that my photos are too dark?

And yes bro! We should! Anyway, new photos uploaded in my multiply!! Go check it out!!
=)

Thank you bwilly! I'm glad u like the Silhouett! It's one of my faourite shots too!

Ya! I agree! Earthworm's very hard to shoot! Haha.. it moved so fast... then the grass block it.. then it moved again.. haha.. but it was very fun shooting it! Though i din manage to capture the whole body. I think perhaps if i had used a different angle then maybe I might be able to capture it complete.. hehe.. Will try again soon! Thanks dude!

Hi Alleyboy :) I like your silhouette shot also ... it would be better if u could've found a spot where u can isolate one of the trees. But, I guess that's difficult to do, and whether u like just one tree in you pic is subjective ...

As for Earthworm Jim, i agree with the comments so far ... Though, actually, u need not capture the whole worm, just one of the ends would do, and zoom in more while decreasing your DOF :)

Just me 2 cents :)
