Hi guys...

although photography is my main thing i enjoy doing video stuff every now and then...

thinking about getting myself a proper video camera some day but i usually film a lot of my friends biking/skating, and one thing with these videos is the need for clean slo-mo.
solution is pretty simple... find a camera with a high frame rate, from what i know about 240fps is enough for clean footage.

anyway, just wondering if anyone knows of any somewhat affordable video cameras that can do this?
i know of the Sony HDR-XR500V which does 3 second bursts of 240 fps and the footage i've seen from it is mighty clean... just wondering what other alternatives are..

cheers

software slo-mo using a NLE?

Check out Samsung HMX20. It can do 300 FPS if I remember correctly, but only at SD resolution. It's a Flash-storage HD camcorder that can also do 1080 50i or 1080 25p (think it depends on NTSC or PAL for 60i or 50i).

You can check it out at Samsung's showroom at Vivo City
