Advice for Monopod & Tripod for DSLR Video

Both are useful but I'll be using the monopod more for video as its very flexible to tilt and slightly pan. 100% better than using free hand.

But i need a monopod that has a good ball head with the 'grip handle' which most shops selling monopod don't have.

Any recommendations? Heard Manfrotto Monopods are good but after searching, it seems local shops don't bring in the models with grip handles for panning.

(any tripods to recommend too?)

You can buy any monopod/chestpod/gorillapod and attach your own fluid head. Much more options to choose from.

Thanks .. Good idea too ... Any advice on the fluid head model/brand? Quite alot in the market but they keep them in glass panels and not sure if the shops will attach it to a monopod for me to test.

Manfrotto701/ 501, Weifeng WF717AH. Peninsular Shopping Centre/Plaza. I would not invest too much in fluid head for an unstable system. The judders of a monopod negates the precision of a good fluid head. Just go for something inexpensive that lets you tilt smoothly.
