Has your item reach vPost USA yet ? Wonder for your case, how much will the GST be as it's handled by different courier.

Vpost charge me $34.13 for GST without the Disbursement fee for the 2 lenses. Seem like using Vpost will save $10 (Disbursement fee) for item which cost above S$400 and liable to GST charges.

If I had bought one lens only, then I will be able to skip the $17 GST charge, but the transportation fees will be more, which work around similar to two lens cost. Should have either bought one lens or more than 2 lenses (if want to safe more) :sweat: .

Since I didn't get it, any one willing to rent out his 28-75mm F2.8 to me from 12th April to 18th April as I going to Bintan.

Actual day over there is 13th to 17th. Meet up to collect on the 12th n return on the 18th evening. 17th evening also possible depend on location.

I think nowaday, all new KM lens are made in China?

Just got mine today, quite a long wait from 8 March. The final amount (inclusive of GST) is around $370-380 each for 2 lenses. I guess 2 lenses do safe on transport a bit.

But yours really like a week plus early, mine still have to go through transit and more hassle.
Anyway, the purchase for all copy at US$199 are worth it ;p

Got a 2nd hand one from Oneindigo at $450. Then went to buy a HMC filter n a pouch for it, spend another $50. Lens look like new but no time for taking photos recently. Maybe will scan in when bring to develop next time.

Now BHphoto also selling the 7D body at 900USD. Which roughly less than $1500. Maybe next gen DSLR from KMS will be out soon. :think:

Anyway, tml morning, going to try out the lens. Maybe bring along my old lens n use for macro. ;p
