ERM paiseh.....i have used ADOBE PRMERE to compose some digicam taken videos clips.....the composition is completed .....then how can i actually convert them to the format that can b viewd by DVD player??:)

You have to render it into format (AVI, MPEG 1, MPEG 2, etc) for a authouring software to encore it into VCD or DVD. Nero or Roxio can do that. Remember that the format you chose will render is the like the final copy, so shoose wisely.

Rule of thumb, if you want VCD quality, use Mpeg 1 for small file size, reasonable quality. Otherwise use AVI or Mpeg 2 if you don't mind the big file size.

thanks for ur advice.

I am using Nero to make the Foto slideshow.

My workflow for foto slideshow is
1. Arrange the foto using Nero (Nero DVD photoslideshow option) with the various transistion effect (now I cut down on the transistion effect)
2. Output it as DV and records it with the video camera via firewire.
3. Capture the recorded foto slideshow as avi file and incorporate it into my other DVD contents.

You can skip step 2 & 3 if you just want to burn the foto slideshow directly into DVD without modification.

thanks ...anakin and all for the solution...
