Hi.

I realized that the forum's time is not Singapore time. Since so many of us are S'poreans, why not change the time so that it'll be more convenient for us to refer to?

I had much difficulty deciphering the time to match local time when threads were posted.

Maybe someone can do that?

Thanks.

it IS in Singapore time, go to User CP and make sure your time zone is correct.

Oh...ic...thanks.... I'm rather new here....that's why I dont know the stuff well.

Thanks for the tip.
:)

but although in the user CP, the time is set to 8 hrs ahead of GMT, at the home page, time indicated for the last post is sometimes GMT, and at times Singapore time. :dunno:

anyway the time is 10 mins too fast too. maybe u guys could correct that. :)

This deserves a bit of detail. The Internet operates entirely on GMT/UTC and technically all servers should adhere to RFC 879 and it's later offspring RFC 1305 regarding time synchronisation. (NTP, STMP etc).

However as has been pointed out you can just set a timezone offset for Singpaore of +8hrs in your user preferences. (user CP)
