About LEICA......

Hi all......

I am a SLR user... and not used much beside that.....

I know some people are crazy over LEICA.... but is it due to the image produced or something else???

How is it different from SLR????? Is it all some in manual only????
Is Leica expensive??? How would a brand new cost be like??? Can the lens be changed???

He gave personal reasons why he went back to Leica and film after two years with a digital camera.

Is that a M7 ir MP model??? Actually... I also not sure what model out there.....

Which pics? I have both the MP and M7 images posted. You can readily identify the M7 as it says M7 on the top plate and it's badged M7 to the right of the RF window.

I realised that my dad have a spolit konica rangefinder from dunno which generation... do you think it is worth to repair that???? With a 40mm f 2.8 lens.....

My avatar shows a black MP. There's images of a chrome MP and a black M7 floating around.

Is the Konica a Auto S3? Well worth repairing IMO. Probably one of the nicest compact RF around.

Not Konica S3. S3 has a 1.8 or 1.7 lens if I'm not mistaken. Had one S3, sold it.

Maybe can try to get your hands on one, handle it, and see if you like it. It is you who will use the camera. Some people like how a Leica handles, some are more suited for SLRs.

Another rangefinder might give you the rangefinder experience, but every camera handles differently.
