This is a pure videographer's dream camera i believe..not a still or sport photographer.
Small, FF, 4K, high ISO monster for video...fantastic.

Slow FPS, no Hybrid AF, 12mp, Not a good stills camera. Yes, unless you like to shoot in dark places at high iso...on normal days in good light, this isn't a good camera. Can't even use for sports since it most likely won't track well and the FPS is too slow. The a6k is way better for that..

There are some image samples there..particularly the one at ISO800 with the FE55 lens...i was not impressed with that sample at all..so i still think this was made purely for videographers who occasionally dabble in stills

Agree. Looking forward to a speed demon version (A7x?) that will cover the remaining niche. Then you will have a budget FF (A7), resolution FF (A7r), lowlight video FF (A7s) and a high fps fast AF FF (A7x? Lol).

i wouldn't be surprised if they do use this same 12mp sensor to make a speed camera with the a6k AF but take away the 4k and all the video stuff...
After all, no one saw the A7s coming at all and Sony surprised everyone with it..they can spring another surprise again..
If the people are thinking of it, i'm sure Sony is as well i don't think they will ever make an all in 1 camera..they want you to buy more than 1...

If the people are thinking of it, i'm sure Sony is as well i don't think they will ever make an all in 1 camera..they want you to buy more than 1...

I believe ALL-IN-ONE was meant as a superb all-rounder camera that is superb for low-light, fast accurate AF/Fps for sports and does 4K video with a large megapixel sensor to go.

Of course, I can continue dreaming of such camera made by SONY.

I was thinking. If the iso at high and clean, suits star trails with building in front of it during time lapse. If the price is right n no FF A-mount, I might consider.
