A tribute to two icons of 2010: Kodachrome & the Kallang Stadium

2010 brought an end to an era of two distinct icons in their own right, the legendary Kodachrome film; and the pillar of Singapore's sporting institution, the Kallang Stadium.

I thought it was only fitting that I paid tribute to both in the following series.

Both will be dearly missed..

It started with our fellow CS member LKSC creating a post, generously offering to donate a roll of the iconic film to anyone who's keen, & I immediately jumped at the opportunity.
I've always known of it's existence, and some of the most enthralling and historic images that have been captured with it, but never had the chance to try it.

Upon receiving it, I faced another dilemma: Choosing subjects worthy of this final Kodachrome hurrah. The Kallang Stadium came to mind. Problem solved.

Anyway, enough of my ranting.. 3 months later and a 30,000 km round trip to Dwayne's in Kansas, the film's finally back and I hope you guys enjoy the images and memories.
Pls excuse some poorly exposed images, as I've never had much luck with slide film..
