Ahh...confirm light leak? I was told this could be the case but then I stumbled on to this thread. So if confirm it's light leak, then I won't have any concerns going to Konata again. Was using a Leica M6 borrowed and only tried this the Tri-X.
Bah. I hate this. I think when I am in the US in june, I will drop off my film to some developer like Precision camera and have them ship to Singapore.
The dried water spots can be washed off if you have time to do so.
If not, sometimes I just use a lenspen and clean it away... not exactly standard procedure neither is it recommended, but in a pinch it works.
B&W easy to develop yourself, no point getting shop to do for you. DIY gives you more control.
I only send B&W for shop to develop only if I amassed more than 40 rolls from a tour or holiday.
Color (portra) I always must send for development, coz I never managed to learn how to develop. So cheem. The irritating thing about color development is that very few shops are prepared to push or pull at all, nevermind multiple stops. So for portra which is supposed to be very good for pushing, many shops refuse to push. Also, got some shops are capable of pushing, but they often are not very open to doing so because they fear that they might get blame if the push results not good.
I have checked there are several internet websites to whom you can send your film canisters and they will let you FTP the scanned images. This is very convenient but very ex.
