Yup Allan Photo is opening the second Leica Store Singapore....... soon. :bigeyes:

Located at MBS, it's boarded ups with signs on the front......

There's something hilarious about ah bengs in nice suits trying to sound nice with "implacable" English while trying to sell Leica products to wealthy customers.

Compared to the Leica Stores and Distributors in HK, It is a far cry. Goes to show the buying power of the economy. Even Chow Tai Fook and Luk Fook is found in MBS. Such Jewellers are found in neighbourhood malls in HK

Well, I went to te Raffles last year. Out of the six (idle) staff, a young guy insisted that my Russian fake was a IIIf.
Only costs you money that Leica is running this madmen's biz!

I'd rather they invest in competent staff than furnishing Maybe service standards will set them apart. Time will tell.

This is a store in a store concept right? The whole shop is not Leica, just one section for each brand. Nikon, Canon, Leica etc.

I don't expect the sales staff to be Leica experts, it is just a job to them and as long as they are relatively up to date on products they sell I am fine with it.
