A good system for NLE???

AMD 4X4: Initial Specs

PIN COUNT => 1207 LGA

DDR 2 667/800 Mhz (non ECC or Buffered)

Processor: Athlon FX 70/72/74 @ 2.6/2.8/3.0 Ghz

Pricing to be USD 999/1132/1500 for a PAIR (Not 1), expect price cut on the actual day (as rumoured by theinquirer.net)

Chipset: Nvidia (To Be Announced)

Sony Vegas NLE editing program are being one of the test software for this system when the project is intially started. Hopefully this is a system that is worth waiting.

4x4 is still somthing of the future...it has not even been demoed and release is still sometime in the future...maybe by 2nd quarter or mid of next year they might have worked out all the bugs...

I'ld rather go for 2 dual core Opteron or Xeon system...they have been around for some time and are tested and proven...maybe even 2 Clovertown Xeon quad core processors for total of 8 cores when it is released later this year :devil:
