A couple of weeks ago, I bought a camera which I had been egarly waiting for since rumours of it's developement, which was further confirmed ny a press release when Konica and Minolta merged to become twice the size of the individual company.
Late last month, it arrived in John 3:16 with 2 dorks (i'm one of them) sitting there waiting like little kids on boxing day morning, waiting to unwrap their presents.
It arrived, and we whip the 2 cameras out of the shop. I flip through the free manual in less than 3 minutes and toss it back into the box. I took it out the next couple of days, shot photos that I liked and even covered my first wedding shoot with it. It was great.
Well, it was feature packed but I had an issue... How to get the freaking DMF function to work!?!? Switched on DMF in the setup menu, but still I could not manual focus after the AF locked... was really fustrated... I knew I missed something.. And then I turn the camera around, and noticed there were 4 settings for focus, S,C,A and M. S is single, C is continuous, and M is Manual, I know that much from my experience with Minolta's previous digital prosumers. But what's A... Dug out the Free Manual and read, Oh, it's Auto, and depending on your preference settings, it'll either let you do DMF or switch between Single and Continuous focus...
Hahaha... How smart I am... and for once, I have to tell myself the phrase I have often used on others. RTFM... (Read the F**king/Free Manual)
And No, I still won't fix your computer. :bsmilie:
