I have problem understanding compensation on the Dynax 7. I do not know when to or even to use it at all.

I just got back some prints which I took some macro sipders. (No pic, since no scanner).

The spider is overexposed, I was using the 5600 handheld with a-mode then and TTL metering.

I guess without the pic its hard to explain....:(

Maybe there is a website that explaine this kind of things.

there are 2 kinds of compensation for the 7. Flash and normal.

For the 5600 flash, there is a meter telling you the range of the flash. If your camera is too near, there is be a "left arrow" indicate the flash is too near.

For macro photography, the best person to ask is megaweb. Read the article written by him.

I am now trying on slides. Do I bracket 1/3 + & - or 1/2 + & - ??? I did not bracket my previous roll and it seems alright but I am going for a short 2nite trip to france, don't want to get spoit or wrong expose shots.

What are the recommendation of brackets if flash is used?

silde tolerant is about 1 stop plus and minus. do not over/under compansate too much.
