7hi: Can't focus..

The camera lens keeps on hunting and would not stop to focus when I am trying to shoot.

Any advice is appreciated before I send it back to Minolta for them to check.

Are you focusing at infinity or close distance with the macro on? Did you switch to macro on the camera?is it on continous focus?or the lighting is very dim? do a check on these stuffs first.

Did you accidentally place yourself in continuous autofocus mode?

Under what situation does it have trouble focusing? The 7Hi does have its limitations as to how fast it can bite onto a subject under low-contrast conditions and etc.

Ahhh....yes, it was set at continuos autofocus mode accidentally.

Ha Ha,stress? anyway when my camera start having funny sympton, i'll do a master reset then set back all my favourite setting again.....
