Des... u say so much hor... i still waiting for you to buy den sell to me 2nd hand leh...
hehehehe...

BTW.....bokeh comparison would be the best done on controlled backlight like bulbs or fixed holes on boards with constant back light

Bokeh comparison on highlights on light reflected on leaves or through holes between leaves are nono :nono: ........i have seen manuy type of misjudged bokeh due to un-controlled situation....i.e between shots of different lenses.....bokeh changes dramatically due to lighting...

Source of lighting also introduce different bokeh characteristics at its egdes....some lens are neutral to "light A" for example but not neutral on its edges at "light B".....or vice versa....

At the end of the day....i think Minoltas circular aperture....is proven to be very good even stopped down to about 2 to 3 stops from widest....
Now that all the DT lens have circular apertures.....its great!!!!

BTW.....did you guys realise how compact the optics of the 18-200 is....?
The last element is really far from the CCD plane.....looks like its really optimizing the design....so that less edge distortions at the widest....but bummer......its has a APS-C image circle....

Geno.......let me know when we can "touch" the super-silent-motor......lens..kekekekeke!!!!!! :bsmilie:

rgds,

I agree with Sulhan...

If you are earning money from Photography and likely to use it constantly, I guess it is worth it...
