i never use filters, except as a 'lens protector'
so...i don't really know the price, but a close up filter from hoya should be below $100 bucks rite?( correct me if i'm wrong, hehehe.... just a rough estimate)

Micro Nikon AF 60mm/f2.8 = $607.70 including GST from cathay

Micro Nikon AF 105mm/f2.8 = around $1000 +/-including GST from cathay

Nikon AF 70-300mm/f4-5.6D ED = $618 including GST from cathay too
