hey ppl...just an observation I encountered a couple of days ago during one of my assignments...me bought new batch of 2500mAh sanyo batts and placed 4 batts into the 5400HS itself and another 6 batts into my EP-2...works fine (or so I thot) for the 1st 5-6 discharges...after that...the flash just would not work anymore...in the beginning thot the new batts didn't charge properly being new and stuff...so a lil kancheong that my flash died on me...rushed down to Funan to the service centre and had my flash checked out...
Apparently...if I replace the 4 2500 batts in the 5400HS...the flash just wouldn't recharge...replace these 4 batts with my ole 2300 ones...works normally liaoz...the service tech told me maybe 5400 is a old flash...so the circuitry not designed to handle the newer 2500batts...so therefore...now onwards...gonna use the 2500 only in my EP2...only 2300 ones in my 5400hs liaoz.......
And also get a backup flash...just in case...
