Just to high light that most of our monitor is only displying 1024 by 768 resolution. Are you happy with the display? If Answer is yes, then 800kp is good enough for A4 size printing. isn't it. :think:

Monitors display at a typical resolution of 72-96 dpi, which is much lower than what a printer can achieve (typically 150-300dpi in practice). So the dots in a monitor are larger and hence has a natural interpolative nature--that is why pictures that looks good on-screen doesn't necessarily translate to alias-free pictures in print.
In the same way, a VCD looks good enough on TV but looks darn blochy on a monitor--that is because the resolution of a TV is much lower than a monitor.
