I just got this lens in Tokyo this week, and whats funny is that there's a bunch of typo errors in the manual that comes with the lens. Anyone with this lens noticed the same thing?

those made in Russia are prone to typographical errors.

Reminds me of those bootleg DVDs from China. Since I got it in Tokyo in a reputable shop I doubt there's such a bootleg 'cron, but still I was surprised to see the number of typo errors.

Anyway, the lens worked fine.

never read the instructions manual until I saw this thread:) Since I'm not going to quibble about semantics, the instructions in English seem alright. I noticed some 'of's written as 'od' but that's about it.

ok, so we have the same thing. thanks for the confirmation.

I guess around 2500. Black though. Got my first roll of FP4+ developed on it and its really really nice.

I like the 35mm Summicron ASPH lens, but I am not so fond of the lens 'bokeh' which is not so creamy smooth like that of the 35mm Summicron (4th version - best 'bokeh' or 1st version - just better possibly).
