Hi,

Anybody know about 35mm Adapter for Consumer HD Camcorder? i'm using Pana SD100..

Thanks!!!

If you are filming in a 35mm adapter you should consider the Cinevate Brevis MP2 no vintage or I would say minimal and it is one of the popular brand used among the best in the industry. A great adapter for all types of camera small to big. Do write in to Hubert or Dennis they will gladly help you. They recently came out a full basic rig setup with adapter for around CAN $1200. Do visit them at Cinevate.com . Have some samples footage on my blog and showcase at www.danialharis.me .:)

Somebody is selling a Letus Mini adapter on B&S at the moment. I was thinking about getting it for my HV30 but the thread size is 37mm and I need 43mm. If your SD100 is 37mm you could consider it.

wow..thank to both of you..i'll look into it soon..

Letus is what i always heard about..most of the US people apply this on their Camcorder..But will Cinevate Brevis MP2 is what more familiar in S'pore or M'sia? Where to grab those 35mm adapter directly from the shop instead of get it from online shop?

You can buy Letus from Expandore. I think you have to order Brevis through online shop.

The original filter size of a Letus mini is 43mm. I have one and used it with a HV20 without any step-rings

The one that is for sale in B&S at the moment comes with a 37mm fitting. I think maybe there are options available for the filter size when you buy the adapter, and the seller just happens to have bought a 37mm unit. You can buy the correct fitting as a spare part from Letus but it is a bit of a hassle and I'm sure it will not be that cheap.
