Hmm...i am not interested in 300D, but after i read the site, i think got some error here...

Pictures captured in JPEG settings can be converted into RAW file during review.

my s45 got this similar function
when set to jpeg, and take a shot, during the short review, i can press a button to save as raw

so i think it's not an error

Just called Cathay - $1850 with lens. Thought of getting it already.

I could get a bit lower than $1850. But my contention is Canon will not give freebies now. I am waiting for Xmas when they can bundle some freebies. Personally I am in no hurry to buy. I have 2 cam to keep me company.
