Anyone have exprience on getting 21mm Viewfinder for Leica M3. I've heard that it must be off shoe for more accurate. Is viogtlander, Ricoh GV-1 or other good option than Leica original? Please help me. Thanks.

I use the CV and Zeiss 21mm finders without any problem on my Leica MPs, which should be similar to your M3. Even though the Zeiss is optically superior to the CV, I feel the latter is still the better value.
