$20k setup. C100 vs GH4.

Hi Kandinsky, thanks for thr link. Very informative. Have not gone around to matching profiles and shots yet. That will be on my list.

On a side note. Tried the canon 70d afc in video and was very impressed. Easily as good as GH4. But GH4 has one extra pattern tracking mode which i find it more useful than face recognition tracking. You can track a subject with a nice printed shirt effortlessly.

Becareful of the GH3/GH4 Auto Focusing for video.

Sometimes they have a very very minor incremental focusing 'jerk' when focusing from between a 0.3 metres object to an object 50 metres away.

The problem is that its very very minor and cannot be seen on the LCD. Only when u blow it up on your 27 inch screen then u see it.

Hi XsenseX, thanks for rhe warning. You are very right that what looks good on a 3 inch screen will look different when on a much bigger monitor.
Been played out a couple of times, in terms of sharpness, camera movement, and composition.
But doing manual focus pulling with thr panasonic lenses are just impossible because of the fly by wire nature.

Yeah .... I'm still not used to their lenses to focus after 1+ years.

Focusing on Canon or those Manual Lens are just so much more 'direct and real'.
