The TP Wireless kit is ncredible value!

Amazingly, it works! However, the output is dual mono and not true stereo. There is no way to isolate the mics into separate channels.
Ideal use case: LIVE webcast from a single camcorder.

Thanks for experimenting with all these non-mainstream gadgets  How's the range/interference like? From using BT peripherals, I find that the sound usually stutters or breaks up beyond a few meters.

Haven't really stressed it too much, but normal use around 5 to 6m away is crystal clear, no dropouts at all! I think BT is a safer bet in locations with other camera crews / house AV working nearby.

That's not bad at all!

My thought is that given that BT transmits on 2.4Ghz, plus the ubiquity of BT usage (fitness trackers, headphones, earpieces, phones, etc) and wifi networks, somehow get the sense like its going to have to battle a fair amount of congestion and saturation, as most events and venues these days will likely mean a gathering of quite a number of BT receiving/transmitting devices are present, as well as wifi networks.

It's good to have backups. Senneisser G3s are definitely too common among news crew. Next popular is Lectrsonic and Sony. I haven't seen much of Rodelink BT, so was considering that before I found the TP wireless. So far BT has been good to me.
For venues without house AV, I rely on a kit of four bluetooth sony AW4 working simultaneously. Identical sets but no interference from one another??!!

Interesting, good to know BT can also viable option! Always been uncertain about them.

Shot this with the TP wireless Dual Mic kit on an EOS M5 .
Standard noise reduction in FCPX to remove hiss. No EQ.
My setup: (Tascam DR-10CS for backup and monitoring only. Audio passes through unchanged to the camera)

The price of the dual mic kit has gone up from USD59 to USD64 recently.
But still a far cry from the SGD1500 I would have to spend on 2 Rodelink Newshooter kits.
