Hi.. Using my Canon Camera M2 setting (0.78MP 1024X768), am I able to develop 4R shots?

Thanks to anyone who can help me!

Yes. I dev once before not knowing what's the min resolution needed for 4R. cause on my monitor it looked so big

It came out surprisingly okay. :D

At 300dpi, you need an optimum res of 1800x1200 pixels, 1024x768 should do fine but not very optimum (as it's enough to print at that size at 150dpi or so).

Note that 1024x768 is in 4:3 ratio, it will be cropped or printed within the 6"x 4" (4R size) frame.

Here's a chart for your ref: link

Hi Oey,

I looked at ya chart and there's something i dun understand.

In the row of 4R prints, the print size is 4" x 6". You have 4 reccomended resolution (150dpi, 200dpi...400dpi). Under each resolution, you have different sets of values again (etc: 150dpi-600x900). Does the 600x900 corresponds to the number of pixels present in width and breadth of the picture? Hence the higher the dpi, the larger is the number of pixels present in the image?

I have a seperate question:
What is the dpi of an image taken by a 4 Mega Pixels camera in the 'L' & "Finest" quality.
