hey guys just wondering is there anyway of checking if u lens is scratched rather den looking at the lens itself...is there like a picture or something to check??

i guess i cld post some pictures up later pretty much if u look at the lens from the top..the ring around the lens that has the 24-105L written on it kinda came out....the thread for the filter is the htreading is gone on some bits since the filter ring got embedded into the threads...

was uber tight man...had to force it out of a pillar but like covered the main lens with a towel and like covered all opening cause didn't want all those small metal shavings from the pillars when gipping onto the filter ring to scratch the main lens...was tough to be honest!
