CZ lenses are manual focus. But the camera does prompt you if your focus is 'almost' accurate -- use live-view to be more sure though.

in general i think IS doesn't always work for low-light situations, since that four-stop advantage isn't useful unless your shutter speed can still be above 1/50 @ f2.8 (consider the necessity of freezing motion). IS is more useful in preventing hand-shake for large telephoto lens. for...
