Another alternative is to invest that $349 on a tablet (Nexus 7 ?), spend a little extra on an OTG cable and thumbdrive for mobility. You can get an HD enclosure with a 2.5 HDD instead of a thumbdrive, but I'm not sure if the tablet can power it though...
Thanks alot guys for the tips. As the locale is a situated in a flat, it seems that the 45 may not be so ideal after all although its pretty snappy. Since its conducted in the day time, the lighting condition should not be too low. I'm trying not to use flash since I am not too articulated with it.
I'm slated to shoot at a friend's children party and would appreciate some tips & suggestion from fellow photogs. Currently equipped with EM5 and was also wondering which focal length would be ideal for such activities. I'm kinda incline toward the 45 ...

guys, as that part of the lcd is quite near the base of the camera I think the crack might been caused by the impact when placing it on hard surface squarely. Maybe a half case can prevent this ?
