I bought this as backup to 17-55 and so far loving it. No regrets. Sharing same filter size as my old 18-70mm so filters all can co-share. Its a gd lens for walkabout as well.

Got the tamron one not long ago but the built i still prefer tokina. Now the tamron basically almost my walkabout lens for normal usage.

I can't make it on the sat 12 Jan. My frd not sure as well. its ok, another time can meet up one. Anyone else wan join us?

My frd and I tentatively set on next Sunday 13th Jan. Those interested can add yourself in the list. My frd using canon system and me nikon. Suggest travel light unless you wan to road march... :sweat: . Cams, lenses as deemed fit. Tripod is suggested but not required as my frd and me bringing...

I mayb going to Changi Broadwalk and Ubin for a walkabout shoot. Date and time not fixed yet with frd but who interested can get back to me.

:think: some forumers might not make it on wkdays with due to work/studies commitments. Possible to have wkend sessions as well. The small difference in price surely not an issue for enthusiats willing to learn. Just a suggestion of coz.
