hmm i also had the same prob with the normal energiser batts, the black ones. it's like due to their size or smth? a lil longer or what.. but then half closed the power ran thru but fully closed it doesn't. beats me as well maybe it's just the length. but the lithium batts work perfectly. :)

I got myself into a situation here... I was trying to clean off some dust in my cam, and I accidently scratched one of the lenses inside. I dunno if you call it the lens but it's the part above the mirror, where I can see the focus points etc. They are faint scratch marks done by my fingernails...
