With my newly purchased D80, I have tested both kit lens and noise control. The kit lens is sharp, and came very close to my 50mm f1.8. The dcresource's reviewer could have gotten a lemon lens...overall, I'm having much fun with the kit lens. (distortion at wide angle is not as good though!)...

For D200 pricing, I ask Lord at the shop and been quoted $2550 with GST. Also was quoted $2850 :thumbsd: by CP and am totally not surprise, they oparate more like any Lucky Plaza electronic shops nowadays, chop carrot head if they could, will not be buying from them anymore!

Went to CP and asked about the price for 486RC2, and was quoted $115 :bigeyes: Guess my head did look like carrot to her... :dunno: There after I went to CP at Merina Square, saw the salesman quoting an ang mo D200 at $3030, I went to ask another salesman an hour later, the salesman...

My guess is in Bangi, very close to the Sepang airport and Sepang racing track. The company is called SOEM (short for Sony Electronic Malaysia, which also produced CTV, Hifi etc...)

Confirmd not D200. Looks like D70s replacement, or it is a D50s with 10.2MP :bigeyes:
