    Not a bug at all. Bugs are of the order Hemiptera. It looks to be, as earlier suggested, a leaf insect, of the order Phasmidae. This is a wheelbug:

    70-300 Sigma apochromatic. I really like it. For an inexpensive lens, it does very well.
