hmm... i think the price diff btwn the s45 and s50 is less. supposed to be $50. I got my s50 a month back for $860 w/gst anyway, i dunno much abt the noise comparison since i dun own both cam, but the s50 is just rite for me, portable, yet enuff controls, since i'm too enthusiastic abt...

to kng, i just made my driving license, here are the photo requirements: 1) 3.5cm width 2) 4.5cm height w/o borders 3) taken less than 3 months ago 4) full face, image of face btwn 2.5cm and 3.5cm frm chin to crown of head 5) background screen must be white, unless your hair is white...

thanx for the fast reply! actually if u noted my title, i have no lens accessories. have a tripod tho(as my hands are really lousy at holding the camera steady now). apart frm that, just the cam, my eyes and fingers. (or course the other body parts but that's irrelevant to the picture:D )...

correction: meant 10-50cm for the wide angle end and 30-50cm at the telephoto end thanx!:)

u can save it in .gif format vastly reduces the size of the file and not much quality loss for a 100x100 pic hope this works for u! :D

? huicsg, tot ms color got 7 day 1-to-1 exchange? bought my s50 there not long ago too, the service was ok, they say any prob just go back, maybe try to look for the owner mr loh? he told me the batch of A70 is pretty problematic... ard 15% defective returned i think...just some hearsay...
