With your settings, if you reduce the time exposure to 4 sec or thereabout, the firework streaks are more fine and thin (thus appearing sharper). There will also be reduced feathering from the fire streaks. Please try it this Sunday and see if you agree. Also, you might like to try bulb...

Hi Bluesteel, I find it very agonising to stalk butterflies. Always scuttling away before I can say hello, not to mention lifting up the cam. Any stalking technique to share? I think all the equipment means nothing if the stalking technique is not up to mark. Passable or not...

Just got a Teleplus Pro300 1.4X Teleconverter for a D80. Notice that there are 8 pins. But the orginal Nikon lens has got 10 pins. Anybody knows what function is missing? So far everthing seems ok. Thanks
