I think it will finish up one battery before using the other, one of my batteries tend to charge up faster then the other after using both together in a day shoot.

i have played with the D40 did not quite like it, the controls are not really dedicated to quick changing of aperuture or shutter speed, gotta click from the lcd screen.
does this mean that the focusing depends on the lens and not on the type body
eg. 350d VS 30d or DIGIC II vs DIGIC III
i always thought that the body tell the lens to focus by a certain amount
I noticed that the camera lens can bring the f-stop to 8
but the camera enables you to set it to f22 or even higher~~
does f8 mean the same depth-of-field as f22?
does the camera lower the sensitivity of the ccd to achieve f22??
