Nice vintage feel...but i personally feel that the glare is too strong...also, the shadow cast (Pic #3) by the "glare" is somehow not right...i.e, lights from the left but shadow cast on the left too...Not trying to find fault, but that's the first thing i observed. Thank you.

Thanks for taking time to comments. I probably should have taken more time to shoot. In terms of lighting, this is something which is still quite tough to get a good grip on. As you can see, the background is rather bright, thus the subject would be darken totally...is there any good...

1. in what area is critique to be sought? Lighting, Composition.. 2. what one hopes to achieve with the piece of work? Learn to compose and control of lighting. 3. under what circumstance is the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions) While taking a coffee break along one of the street...

:think: Then again, maybe i'm wrong. My bad...:) I normally bring along a 14-24mm and a telephoto lenses when i travel, hence my walk-around lenses are 14-24mm and 85mm. And if i'm in town, normally just a prime lens.

IMO, any lens can be a walk-around lens as long as you know what are your goals at the end of the day...;)
