Hi, i personally prefer option 1 as the 18-55 and 50-200(zoom lens) is on different usage. It can assist us better in knowing our favourite focal length - just my 2 cents :)

I bought a canon eos bag for my pentax kx dual kits due to budget constrain. As long as it is cheap, not too bulky and can protect the camera,it sounds good to me.:)
