i agree too. i shot at iso 80. aperture 8.0 and den shutter speed about 8 - 10s. i did not have a tripod with me so i just placed it on the ledge. some just hand held, hold my breath and remain as still as possible. lack of exposure is the primary reason for noise is that right?

don't be afraid to go for 2nd hand if the condition is still good. i got mine few weeks back for $400 and condition was close to mint even though the owner stated 9/10. came with 8GB kingston and all the cables and chargers. only downside was no warranty. but hey, for $400 i'm not complaining.

just got a lumix lx3. walked ard funan and people's park to test WA lenses because i was thinking of adding some accesories. but i did not buy because i was concerned about compromising on image quality. there was a guy in one of the shops in funan advised me not to waste my $ on purchasing...
