Hi all, I'm interested to buy a dvd camcorder. But once its recorded in the dvd. Can it be edited? I'm buying it purely for my mum, just shoot then play in the player. thanks for the input.;)

Hi all! I noticed a button which I can't figure out how to use appropriately. I'm using nikon D70, its located near the lens. If u face the camera , it would be on the lower left of the camera. Cheers :)

Hi all, i jus got myself a D80. While testing it @ home, I noticed that the image was partially blackened at the side when i put the speed to 400, @ 600 it was half block @ 1000 fully block ( no image shown ).... Is there anyway that I can rectify the problem or way to overcome it...

may I know whats the limitation in using P mode:dunno: I've using it all the time but unsure about the limitations. Never tried aperture or shutter priority mode though.:)

Correct me if i'm wrong, for camera accepting CF slots. I saw rows of fine pins in the camera. what if any of these fine pins got bent or break away? would iy affect the function of the camera? I don't think SD would have this issue. :embrass:

I,ve heard a few pple says that nikon body is sturdier. How true it is?:dunno: As compared to SLRs in the pretty much same price range.

Not only doing prints, selling other services eg. the usual ones. passport foto, photocopying, photographic equipments etc etc. Other photographer/ videographer could drop in their services & sherman can be the middleman. If available space, a small studio for personal use or rent/ hr basis...

sherman, I admired your courage:thumbsup:. Do what you think gives you fulfillment. If some shops offer cheapo prices, the tendency the pics matches the price. So don't worry if you can produce great prints. Good luck to you in your venture. Let me know of your shop name.:D

thanks guys:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup: I've already got D70, I need a back up camera. Or rather D70 would be the back up now Its funny lately, if I were to put the exposure to 0, it'll look underexposed, So I have to put it to +0.5- +1. Looks like D80 is the clear choice. I didn't know...
