Is it that when the battery drain out when you're taking photos, the lens will still remain protuding out.... It doesn't retract back by itself.

I manage to get my LX5 at People's Audio, the white one, inc of screen protector, 8GB SD card, camera case (which doesn't fit as nicely). Damage is $680 (payment by cash though)... so I have to specially go to the atm machine at e mrt station to draw $$

I've seen a video on youtube which describe about this problem :) its posted up in another thread by pennystock http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlAcAunxnac&feature=related But apparently, the vertical smearing disappear after using the AutoI Mode HTH! ^^
