the studio adapater is a good buy for coy who have going into mulit cam set up and have a series of broadcast camera and tripod, servo and battery. For independent short film maker or smaller production house, i will recommend other model.

A HVX have a differenet workflow from the rest of the HDV camera. p2 Card is still really new to industry ... need to wait for a while for the technology to be stable. i would say for now if you are getting a HDV camera, the A1 or sony v1 is a better buy
