    You are half right in the sense that there might be special time limited promotion at the shop itself. Else the price is either the same or the web price is likely to be cheaper. This is my experience with Yodobashi. Since Bic operates similar to Yodobashi, i think the reasoning applies...

    D300 is going for about ¥209,770 - ￥228,000. Which works out to be SG$2700-3000 roughly.

    Actually, I am staying in Japan now. I got my D80 over the weekend. I think that the body warranty in local to Japan but the lens is worldwide. I`m sure everyone knows this except me being a newbie. So i think getting lenses from overseas is not a problem right?

    Hi, I checked the price today. The body goes for ¥552,155 - ¥578,000 depending on shop. Which works out to be about SG$7150 - 7500. One shop told me collection would be after 30 Nov 07. Hope that helps.
