Cathay Photo also sells XQD cards. I got the 64GB G series, off the top of my head can't remember how much exactly, but around $20ish less than Sony's RRP. They didn't have the Lexar XQD cards, only Sony. That was like 2 weeks ago. Dynamic Range ISO16000

Agree with the compression point and that's why I'm starting to go with the 70-200 f4 for portraits. It is sharp, the VR is phenomenal, and the compression works together with the depth of field to make the subject pop out from the background.

The 24-85 is no slouch, but since you're going with the D750, you might as well get the 24-120 together with it. Just take the D750 over the D610.

The D810 may be the ultimate architectural camera.

Also tempted to get the 24-70 f2.8 sia. But I have the 28/50/85 f1.8 primes and the 24-85VR for video. So that starved off the BBB.
