not really. i go climbing and trekking with it. jsut a matter of getting used to i guess. as for padding, i got a lowe pro bag (forgot wat model) mod. it a little and put it in. went though countless aiports liao :P

tried in in CP abt 2 mths ago. but bought the 12-24 over this. planning end of yr, then buy it. was a hard decision which to buy, cause with this lens, landscape is not a problem, just need to de-fish it in NC.

errr ya i got it across wrong ithink... cause i know with the fisheye, using nikon capture, u can "unbend" the fisheye effect? i am comparing pics after the unbend effect has been put in. so... i gather that it "should" produce reasonable wa shots?

hi just wanna get some specific views, as i am considering one of the above lens... which is better? the 10.5 or the 12-24? i am quite heacy into travelling, so thinking of getting a WA i seen pics taken by both... very impressed. only thing i kind of worried is that the fisheye will not look...
