Applying petroleum based product to rubber is a mistake... it would attack the rubber. The rubberised handgrip on my 700si is not dry, in fact it's oozing some liquified stuff between the cracks. Does any owners of 800si or Dynax 9 have this problem on their cameras? The textured handgrips...

My 700si which is kept in a humidity controlled cabinet have the following symptoms... *the rubber portion of the handgrip is sticky and cracks are appearing. Does anyone else have this problem?:dunno:
