Well....if i try and put it in words....mine sounds like "khrrrrrrrr". Vibrating quiet a bit yes. I was wondering if there is anywhere else where i can get a lens repaired for the VR unit. Nikon is definitely expensive. Just considering the option for now. Not in warranty anymore...

Everytime i have this lens of mine on the camera....as soon as i switch on the camera i head a loud whirring noise from the lens. If i see through the viewfinder...i see the lens vibrating while the noise is made. Any picture taken during this is blurred ofcourse. After around 5-6...
